Memories Run Red in the Blood – 36” x 24”

This piece was created just after the passing of my mother.  I needed a place to put the visceral emotions. The woman’s face is from another era and her clothing is made up of manipulated photos of a large cactus, cathedral windows and rock.  Hidden in the background is her memory of a man.
