Pond Walk – 24” x 36”

Having only lived in Massachusetts for a few years I am often moved by an abundance of trees and water.  I created this to reflect my enjoyment of nature walks in Lexington and Arlington.  At one point I was stuck, not knowing what to use as the woman’s skirt. During a walk at Menotomy Rocks Park, I came upon a wood structure that puzzled and excited me.  My immediate thought was, “I have my skirt!”. I wasn’t sure how it had been created but I felt it was placed there for me.
