The Wisdom of Trees – 30″ X 24″

I took apart an old photo and slid the seated woman onto her back. Having found a photo of a dirt field divided up with dried grass, I decided it looked like a hammock. I used images of sharp rocks as fringe and dropped the hammock between trees that I shot in Ireland and then painted.
